Longueville House organises a variety of on-site events to celebrate each changing season. We offer a host of educational, entertaining & mouth-watering events on our unique property nestled in 450 acres on the Blackwater valley.
Traditional Afternoon Teas are served one Saturday in the month. Longueville House serves a mouthwatering Traditional Afternoon Tea full of treats all sourced from our walled garden with freshly brewed teas and coffees. A novel way to reconnect with friends and loved ones. Served in one of our three dining areas, we have sittings from 2pm until 4pm. Our next Afternoon Tea dates are:

Pricing: Traditional Afternoon Tea - €30 per person
Celebration Afternoon Tea (With a Glass of Bubbly/Sparkling Cider Cocktail) - €35 per person
Please note that our afternoon tea is very popular and pre-booking is essential. For tables of 6 or more a deposit is required.
For groups of 8 persons or more a 10% service charge is automatically added to the bill.
We can cater to groups of 12 or more outside of the above dates, subject to availability.

Participants meet at Longueville House Hotel. A brief orientation & maps distributed of various sites on the estate. Participants set off on tour. Later teh groups return home to clean up & enjoy a hearty country breakfast/ light supper (for evening participants). In Longueville we place as much emphasis on the reward at the end of a walk as teh actual walk itself!
Afterwards a cosy chat, questions & answers session in the drawing room by the fire. Longueville is known for its more intimate chorus walks, in luxorious surroundings, allowing participants to benefit from more of the guide's time & attention.
The Dawn Chorus walk takes place on Sunday 3rd May at 4am Sharp.

Guided Dawn Chorus Walk, Full Traditional Breakfast, plus detailed discussion with guide afterwards.
Warm outdoor clothing with hiking boots/wellies depending on the weather.
Waterproof hats and overcoats, umbrellas due to our inclement weather; even a pair of sunglasses may come in handy; binoculars if you readily have them / not essential.
Booking & Cancellation Policy:
Advance booking & payment is essential by credit card or cheque as numbers taken for this very special event is limited. Confirmation of booking will be guaranteed on receipt of these payment details. Cancellation is required within 48 hours of the event to avoid penalty in full. cancellations before this time will be refunded payment minus 20% handling fee. Book soon as spaces are limited!
